At the end of a successful tour we always like to thank those whose efforts went into making it happen...
The Travelers: On some tours it's all fun, but when you're faced with some pretty miserable New England weather, in April, it's fantastic that a group responds so well, making the most of the situation & opportunity & staying cheerful.
The Chaperones: Without the chaperones, taking on such a major responsibility, a tour like this simply couldn't happen.
The Parents: After all, they paid for the travelers to enjoy such a rich, fun, & educational experience.
The Tour Leader (Mike): The tour leader is constantly working behind the scenes to make a tour run smoothly - communicating with the office, with the bus driver, with restaurants, with sights, etc. In circumstances like this week, with multiple sightseeing cancellations due to bad weather, it's extra challenging.
The Group Leader: Ms. Taber put a huge amount of time & effort into making this tour happen, with planning beginning almost a year ago. Communicating with the tour operator, students & parents, organizing lists of travelers/rooming assignments/dietary requirements, etc, etc. All these & more are essential to making a tour happen.
Thank you everybody.
It was a pleasure to operate this tour for Cambridge & we hope to see many more Cambridge groups in the future. Safe travels!
